Why we can't have nice things. Reason #228

I would love to tell you my boys are responsible for this tragedy, but that would be a lie. *sigh*

What was it in it's former life??

@stacy.. I did it. At my mom's house cleaning. My son was singing about telling her and that I was going to get in trouble.

@elizabeth. An Indian Maiden type ceramic thing bust my aunt made several years ago.

Awww yes. I recognize broken shards as something I've seen many times in my house. And yes, I'm guilty too.

My first comment is lost somewhere out on the Internet! Argh! I was also gonna ask what it as in its "unbroken state". :) Smooth move mom!!

I've been breaking plates and glasses lately. All accidents, of course, but way too many accidents strung together...I had to get a new set of dishes!!

Ouch!!! I´ve been in a really "accidental" type of time. I´ve been breaking so many things.

AWWW Shame it isn't glass I could have fused some pieces and made a little keep sake for you or your mom :))

@shoozles that is a great idea for heirlooms. If I break something like that I'll be sure to save some pieces. ; ) Of course here's hoping I don't.

I am so guilty of stuff like this all the time!

We live in a million dollar house--not ours!! But where we live/work while we take care of the boys. When we moved in, the interior decorator had all these beautiful things--eagle statue (broken in the first hour) and jars with pebbles--yeah, right, with babies and boys...needless to say, most of the decorations are gone now. Broken by one of the kids, or hidden by me :-)

Blame the children... they'd do it to me all the time - smiles!
